Koplik spots are first manifestation but seldom seen.
Koplik spots are small, white spots with a bluish-white color that appear on the
inside of the cheek opposite the molars in individuals with measles. They are
considered a pathognomonic sign of measles and typically appear 2-3 days before
the onset of the characteristic skin rash. However, they are not commonly
observed in all cases, making them a less frequently seen early manifestation of
the disease. They are small and can be easily overlooked or mistaken for other
oral conditions.

The macula densa is a specialized group of epithelial cells located in the distal convoluted tubule at the junction with the afferent and efferent arterioles. It plays a role in the tubulo-glomerular feedback mechanism to regulate renal blood flow and glomerular filtration rate.

Amoxicillin is a common and appropriate antibiotic choice for prophylactic use in healthy adults undergoing dental extractions where there might be a risk of infection, such as with a widened periodontal ligament (PDL). The choice of antibiotic should always be determined by a qualified healthcare professional based on the patient's full medical history and local resistance patterns.

Answer: 1) Decreased heart rate
Explanation: In the heart, acetylcholine acts on muscarinic receptors, which are present on the sinoatrial (SA) and atrioventricular (AV) nodes. This leads to a decrease in heart rate by slowing the sinoatrial (SA) node's automaticity and increasing the time it takes for an electrical impulse to pass through the AV node.

ProsthodonticsWhen a clasp is properly designed and placed, none of its parts should be active. All clasp components should be passive when the denture is seated. The retentive clasp terminal only becomes active during insertion and removal, but remains passive during normal function. Active clasps indicate improper design or poor fit.
