NEETMDSThe pediatric treatment triangle originally described the relationship between the child, parents, and dentist. The success of pediatric dental treatment relies on effective communication and cooperation among all parties within this expanded triangle relationship.

Dental Materials
Addition-type silicone rubber impression materials are characterized by their
very low dimensional change, which means they exhibit minimal shrinkage or
expansion upon setting. This is a highly desirable property in dental
impressions as it ensures that the casts or models produced from these
impressions will be accurate representations of the patient's oral structures. their setting reaction involves the addition of a cross-linking agent to the
base material, which forms a stable polymer without the by-products that can
cause significant dimensional changes

ProsthodonticsAn important advantage of the I-bar retainer in the RPI concept is that since the tooth contour is not altered, food accumulation against the tooth surface is minimized. The I-bar approaches the undercut from the gingival direction without requiring tooth modification, maintaining natural contours that promote self-cleansing.

Anatomy
The spleen follows the long axes of ribs 9 to 11 and lies mostly posterior to the stomach, above the colon, and partly anterior to the kidney. It is attached to the stomach by a broad mesenterial band, the gastrosplemic ligament. Therefore, it is the most likely organ of the group to be pierced by a sharp object penetrating just above rib 10 at the posterior axillary line. Note that the pleural cavity, and possibly the lower part of the inferior lobe of the lung, would be pierced before the spleen. The ascending colon (choice 1) is on the wrong side (the right) to be penetrated by a sharp instrument piercing the left side. Most of the duodenum (choice 2) is positioned too far to the right to be affected by this injury. Even the third part of the duodenum, which runs from right to left, would still be out of harm's way. In addition, the duodenum lies at about levels L1 to L3, placing it too low to be injured in this case. The superior pole of the left kidney (choice 3) is bordered by the lower part of the spleen. However, it is crossed by rib 12 and usually does not extend above rib 11. It would probably be too low and medial to be injured in this case because this penetration is at the posterior axillary line.

Oral PathologyHeberdens nodes are bony enlargements of the distal interphalangeal (DIP) joints of the fingers and are pathognomonic of osteoarthritis. These nodes result from osteophyte formation and joint space narrowing due to cartilage degeneration. They are typically seen in primary osteoarthritis, especially in postmenopausal women. Bouchard nodes affect proximal interphalangeal joints. These nodes are not associated with coronary disease, osteoporosis, or Raynauds disease.

Prosthodontics
Chroma refers to the purity or saturation of a
color, distinguishing it from its brightness (value) or hue. In dental
color-matching, chroma is an essential factor when selecting materials for
aesthetic restorations.

Explanation: According to the WHO classification of dental injuries, pulp exposures due to crown fractures are classified under 873.62. This classification helps in standardizing the terminology used in dental trauma, allowing for better communication and understanding among dental professionals.
873.60 - Pulp Exposure due to Trauma
This code refers to cases where the pulp is exposed as a result of trauma to the tooth. It does not specify whether the pulp is vital or non-vital, but it indicates that there is a direct exposure of the pulp tissue.
873.61 - Avulsion of Tooth
This code is used for cases where a tooth has been completely displaced from its socket (avulsed). In avulsion cases, the pulp is typically exposed, and immediate re-implantation is critical for the best prognosis. This classification highlights the severity of the injury and the need for urgent treatment.
873.62 - Crown Fracture with Pulp Involvement
This code refers to fractures of the crown of the tooth that involve the pulp. It indicates that the fracture has extended into the pulp chamber, necessitating treatment such as root canal therapy.
873.63 - Crown Fracture without Pulp Involvement
This code is used for crown fractures that do not involve the pulp. In these cases, the injury is limited to the enamel and dentin, and the pulp remains intact.
